Shipping & Returns
Due to the current events, all shipping services are experiencing some delay. We try to ship out your order as fast as possible. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Orders typically ship within 2-3 business days. Exceptions may occur during busier times of the year, or if there's been a note made to our social media/website noting otherwise.
Please make sure you enter your mailing address correctly.
We are not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect shipping information provided by a customer-- we rely on the address that you provide.
Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages where the item is has been registered as delivered. If you experience your package going missing please contact us immediately and we will begin an investigation with the mail carrier to attempt to track down the package. Please make sure your shipping address is correct and your package will be delivered to an area you feel safe with the item being left. If you are concerned your package may be lost or stolen please contact us before placing your order and we will facilitate your order being delivered with a confirmation signature. Additional fees may apply.
Packaging
Our crystal products are very well packed and protected with reused bubblewrap and/or recycled and recyclable honeycomb kraft paper. We try to use as little plastic and unnecessary packaging as possible and reuse our protective packaging material to generate less waste. We skip the boxes (other than the mailer box) and provide a reusable cotton pouch for each crystal product.
Delays or shipping issues
- If your package does not arrive within reasonable timeframes (please take in consideration we are all living through a pandemic), be sure to let us know immediately as we will need to follow up with the postal service. Please let us know within 6 weeks of your order-- preferably sooner-- that the item(s) did not arrive, so we can file a claim with USPS. After that, tracking information becomes unavailable so it will be extremely hard to find a missing package.

- Once a package is shipped (once the carrier is in possession of your package) the tracking information, transit route and timing are outside of our control. As much as we'd like to be there, final delivery is out of our hands. We cannot replace missing or stolen packages at this time.
International orders
International orders may take as long as 8 weeks to receive depending on how long customs holds any items. All international orders are subject to fees and delays via customs, and this is completely out of our hands. Any fees owed to customs to retrieve the item is the buyer's responsibility.
We ship from California, via USPS, UPS and DHL worldwide.
We now offer an affordable option called Simple Export®. As with USPS the recipient’s local Postal Service will deliver the package within 1 to 3+ weeks, depending on the country.
Simple Export® includes free door-to-door tracking to 55 countries:
Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vietnam.
For other countries, tracking updates will stop at the border, contact local postal service for updates.

Returns & Refunds
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction, always! If you’re unsatisfied with your Self Ceremony product, please contact our Customer Care team at hello@selfceremony.com and we’ll help get the process started.
All returns must be processed within 15 days of receiving your order and require proof of purchase (e.g. your SC order number and order confirmation email)
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused and in its original packaging.
We cannot process any returns without first being contacted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as our Pleasure Wands). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Items broken or damaged by customer are non-refundable and non-returnable: We are a small company and carry a very limited stock. Crystals are very fragile so they require extra care and being very mindful when handling. Please consider this before labeling a crystal tool as "poor quality because it breaks easily". That is the inherent nature of crystals.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
Refunds are processed on unused, undamaged products only. Please return your items back to our studio in the original packaging and ensure that the shipment is carefully packed, as we're unable to process refunds on items that arrive broken.
Refunds are applied to returned products only and do not cover any shipping fees. As a small, growing business, we are currently unable to pay for return shipping. Once submitted, refunds typically return to the original payment method within 3-10 business days.
Exceptions: we do not accept returns or offer refunds on discounted or sale items or gift cards.
